This course will provide the student with a thorough exposure to the doctrine and technique of the modern battle carbine (AR-15, Mini-14, HK93, AUG, etc.). Course material includes practical marksmanship, ballistics, gunhandling, continuity of fire, shooting with movement, transition shooting, mental conditioning for combat, and more. Either iron or optical sights are acceptable, but optics should have a back-up sight system that is available immediately on need.
